The Crossover (CRO) is a special return bender and it may be used for a wide range of tubes processing and it may be totally automatic or semiautomatic. It is characterized by a high productivity, flexibility of production and simple management. It produces crossovers, return bends, bent elbows and straight tubes starting from coils in copper, aluminum and other materials. According to the diameter and the material in use it is possible to have from 1 to 3 tracks.

Calibrating unit
Due to the limited length of crossovers, bends and elbows, the tubes are only calibrated by rolling wheels.
Feeding unit
The feeding of the tube is obtained through the translation of two pliers of which one is fixed and another one is mobile, by hydraulic drive that keeps the tube in position.
Cutting unit
The cutting unit uses an high speed saw installed on a moving carriage driven through an hydraulic cylinder guided by columns tempered and grinded moving on coupling boxes with re-circulating ball screws.
Bending unit
An hydraulic cylinder drives the bending unit who makes the variable bending shape guided by an adjustable cam.
Device for bending mandrels lubrication
During the bending phase a lubrication device ensures the correct amount and distribution of the oil inside the bends. The lubrication is automatic and independent for each track.
Temporized distributor of grease
A centralized and temporized distributor of grease lubricates each mechanical part subjected to friction under operation.
Mechanical and electrostatic filter for residues and smokes (upon request)
An extractor sucks the smokes and residues through mechanical pre-filters, while the smallest particles are retained by an electrostatic filter. This device is mandatory for installation within EU Countries.
Collection unit
An inclined plan conveys the crossovers, bends or elbows on a collection container.
Control panel
The control panel allows the programming and the control of the machine's functionalities. A clear set of symbols makes easier the use of the machine for the operator; in the manuals supplied with the machine there are cases of malfunction that can be verified, together with an accurate description about their troubleshooting.
Safety
The Crossover return bender is equipped with a safety guard and thus intrinsically safe; the opening of the guard places automatically the machine under safety conditions. |
