Progressive fin die

In the finned coil heat exchangers, the thermal efficiency depends on the configuration of the corrugation profiles or of the louvers and on the quality of the collars: for this reason our fins are made paying utmost attention to the details in order to ensure efficiency and performance. C.M.S. stands out for its progressive dies with independent sections, each one provided with own columns ensuring incomparable benefits: reducing the dimension of each die sections increases the ease of processing and determines a remarkable precision of the assembly, makes possible the creation of "combined dies" with different diameter of fin collar, yet with the same geometry, and allows an easier and quick maintenance and replacement of the die parts. The number of progressive sections that make up the die varies depending on the diameter and height of the collar. These sections produce a sequence of subsequent deformations and punching on the ribbon which give the fin the exact size and shape for which it was designed. To satisfy any application need, it is possible to produce fins made of aluminum, copper, carbon steel, stainless steel, even with various surface treatments. To assure reliability and durability, and at the same time simplify maintenance operations, our dies include a dedicated columns lubrication and self-supporting die sections fastening solutions; each detail is manufactured according to quality standards assuring the highest level of precision, heat treatment and surface treatment of the materials.

In order to improve and optimize the operating cycle, and in compliance with the strictest international safety regulations, our fin pressing lines can be integrated with useful accessories, including an automatic selector for cutting the rows, a sound-proof cabin to reduce the noise level (mandatory in EU countries), a suction device for scrap metal, the additional lubrication kit and much more.
